The story so far… A human named Francis Robinson from Earth lost his life due to being distracted by devastating news about a female he had feelings for. Not paying attention, a car smashed into his body, killing him.

Beia made sure that her son was trained when able as the two lived in a village with other survivors who went with her after a division between Beia and the mate of her lover Gonten, who had given birth to sons of his own.
Yet life was cruel, and again more loss was to come as humans from the western lands intended to attack their village during the night.
Beia sensed this coming attack and made sure her son was taken away by a trustworthy companion named Gabriel as he and others went ahead to flee the village while others stayed behind to face the threat.
The young boy Gonten learned of this and used the loss to help him find determination for the future he had in mind when he came of age after many years passed since then.
More interesting things came to happen to Gonten once he grew into a young adult, leading him to meet a mountain tribal chief of a broken tribe, where the two went on to have a meeting alone.
