The Quivering Quill Shipping Policy

Effective Date: 7/16/2025

1. Order Processing

  • Speedy quills: Physical orders are picked, packed, and leave our Indiana warehouse within 3 business days of purchase.

  • Any items that are print on demand we are at the mercy of the printing company but orders are filed no more than 2 business days after purchase.
  • Business days run Monday – Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

  • Digital items (e‑books, audiobooks, etc.) are delivered instantly via download link or account library—no snail required.


2. Shipping Methods & Transit Times

  • We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, selecting the best balance of cost and reliability for your address.

  • Typical carrier transit windows are 2–7 business days (U.S.) and 6–21 business days (international).

  • Important: Once a package leaves our nest, carrier transit times are estimates only. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, but we’ll provide tracking so you can watch your parcel’s epic journey.


3. Shipping Rates

  • For books we use the usps media mail function and as such offer rates of $6 for the first book and 50 cents for each additional.


4. International Shipping

  • We ship worldwide to the extent local laws allow adult‑content books.

  • Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility and may be collected by the carrier before delivery.

  • Customs inspections can delay arrival—sadly, even our magic quills can’t speed up border dragons.


5. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

  • When your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number.

  • Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after the label is created.


6. Delivery Delays & Force Majeure

  • Weather, carrier network issues, customs backlogs, or dragons (hey, it could happen) may delay delivery. These circumstances are outside our control; we appreciate your patience.


7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

  • Marked “delivered” but nowhere to be found? First, check with household members/neighbors and your local carrier branch.

  • If the package is still missing after 3 days, contact us at support@thequiveringquill.com.

  • Items damaged in transit? Email photos of the packaging and item within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.


8. Address Accuracy

  • Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout. We’re not responsible for mis‑deliveries due to typos or missing information.


9. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Need to tweak or cancel? Email us within 12 hours of purchase—after that, the order may already be flittering through our packing queue.


10. Split Shipments

  • To get your treasures to you faster, items in the same order may ship separately (e.g., print‑on‑demand titles vs. in‑stock books). You’ll receive tracking for each parcel at no extra cost.
