After purchase you will be sent a download link for your book. It will always include an ePub file at minimum but possibly some other formats as well such as PDF or mobi. All three of these are compatible with kindle. Simply go to amazon.com/sendtokindle then drag and drop the file into the box and hit send. Your book will now be available on any of your reading devices. If your purchase is a .ZIP file you will have to unpack it first before uploading the files to kindle.

Our audiobooks are provided as standard audio files such as .m4a, making them compatible with a wide variety of mobile apps and devices.

Our profit sharing schedule is as follows: The site takes a flat 7% + $0.23 per ebook sale. This is to cover both credit card processing fees and operational costs.

For physical books, the calculation is 7% + $0.23 after production and shipping costs are calculated.

Finally, for audiobooks, the site share is 7% + $0.23 per sale, with the remaining revenue split however it has been worked out between the author, narrator, and The Quivering Quill if we were involved in some manner of the production.

Currently, authors and creators can create a vendor account directly on The Quivering Quill in order to upload and manage their own content. New vendor accounts and submitted content are subject to a review period as determined by The Quivering Quill staff on a case-by-case basis.

If you are interested in becoming a creator on the platform, please also contact us at after creating your account so we can assist with onboarding, verification, and any additional setup that may be required. support@thequiveringquill.com

ABSOLUTELY! Due to how payment processors work the larger your purchase the more of the money WE (The site and the authors) get. If you plan on getting multiple works make sure to get them as a single purchase or, if you just want the one for now but more later, buy a gift card for yourself or others!

Our credit card processing is handled by a third party, none of your private information is handled by us directly though we are able to see billing information and the last 4 of the card used after a sale is made, this holds true for any business that takes credit card payments.

Absolutely! All authors/ creators retain the full rights to their works and are allowed to take down their content whenever they wish. You are also free to post your content elsewhere. This is of course dependent on the other site also allowing you to do this. So if you are already published with KDP Select for example, you can not post your work here as well. There could be case by case situations where this does not hold true but only if it was discussed prior to the content going live. A possible example being an audiobook being made with the funding coming from The Quivering Quill. In situations such as that the website reserves the right to recover it’s financial expenses prior to the content being wholly owned by the original author. In the case that something is co-authored or has more than one rights owner, again an audiobook with profit sharing worked out privately between both the author and narrator, we require permission from both parties to both post and take down the content.

The fees that we are charged for processing payments, in order from least fees to most, are: Bank transfer (but your order would have to be a minimum of $250 to choose this option), the built in credit card processing option, apple pay, and then paypal. In fact, paypal’s fees are nearly double the built in CC processor system’s are. That said, I understand that there seems to be an issue for some people with the CC system as it seems to mainly work for North America and the UK, so it will remain an option.
